Emotions and behavior are the two main factors that this site was created and they are the motivation for why we do what we do with Elda. Considering these factors are ever changing and there is no real way to ever know what to expect there is some consolation in having repetative and consistent things to do.

Elda is and was a very funny and loveable woman. She is also a woman of tremendous faith, however this never stopped her from worrying, her biggest defect, and still the main cause (from my point of view) of her swinging emotions. In this section we would like to present some of her moods and behaviors in which we have confronted over the years. While everyones experience is different we believe some of these behaviors arise throughout the cycle of Alzheimer’s and as always we hope they will be of some help to caregivers. We will address in more detail specific emotions and behaviors in our blog (called perspective) and encourage you to visit and respond.
